Historical venues
Fort Dunree Military Museum charts the history of Lough Swilly as a port and its central role in key events of Irelands history, Inishowen Maritime Museum and Planetarium preserves Inishowens ongoing relationship with the sea and the fishing industry, Donegal Ancestry helps those who wish to trace their family trees in Ireland, and the Isle of Doagh Famine Village looks at the social history of Inishowen over the past 300 years (and they make a lovely cup of tea with scone bread!). All of these excellent Museums are within a short drive or cycle of Tullyarvan Mill Hostel.

Marine
Inishowen also attracts diving enthusiasts because of the many wrecks in its surrounding waters. There are a couple of sub-aqua clubs in the area and we would be delighted to put you in touch with local guides and divemasters.
